Katherine grew up in Spencerport, NY. She graduated from MCC in 2010 with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Previous to working at Cameron, Katherine worked at BOCES as a Student Behavioral Assistant.
Katherine began working at Cameron in September 2011 as the lead youth assistant, which involved creating lesson plans for the youth programs, and acting as Director when the Youth Director was not present. In December 2012 Katherine became the Interim Youth Director and in June of 2013 Katherine was made permanent Youth Director.
Katherine is passionate about her job, she loves the youth in Cameron’s neighborhood, and works hard with the youth staff to ensure that every child feels safe, comfortable, and knows that they are cared for.
When she is not at work, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and their chocolate lab puppy. She also loves to go to country concerts and Bills games. Let’s Go Buffalo!
