My name is Todd Allen and I am leading the fund raising efforts for the Cameron Community Ministries playground.

I have been involved with Cameron for over a decade and over the years I have come to understand how integral and vital they are to this Lyell Avenue neighborhood both to the adults and to the 100's of children that they provide food, clothing, help with school and a warm smile and a hug. It is for these children that this playground has become my mission. I grew up in a neighborhood where other than coming home for lunch and dinner I was outside playing. Learning about various games, how to get along with others and having the opportunity to channel my energy into positive activities. To give these kids the opportunity to enjoy that type of fun and growth in a safe place is something every child should have the chance to experience.
