School Supply Collection
Dear Friends of Cameron,
Cameron Community Ministries' annual school supply drive takes place every August and we will be collecting school supplies for the children in our Summer and After School programs as well as the teachers at School #30 on Otis Street, located just down the street from us. Most of the children in our youth programs come to us from this school, where more than 90% of the families qualify for free lunches for their children. Buying school supplies is often a hardship for them. This year we hope to collect supplies for all of the teachers since they often use their own funds to purchase supplies for their students who can’t afford them.
